A note from Lucie:

Reading and being read to are the keys to knowledge for all children.
From birth to 3 they are preparing to read. Somewhere between the ages of 3 and 7 they become literate. From that point on, the ability to gather knowledge as well as to communicate in both speech and writing is largely dependent on reading.

Some of Lucie’s personal favorite children's books are:

Mary Poppins
Millions of Cats
A Wrinkle in Time
The Tub People
Go, Dog. Go!
The Important Book
